At Mai Therapist Clinic, we prioritize your health, comfort, and wellbeing above all else. Seeing each client as unique, we aim to meet their individual needs holistically, not just as massage seekers.

We take both our clients and our therapist' work very seriously. that´s why our policies are carefully crafted to enhance our small business, while also ensuring better service for our clients and utmost respect for our therapists and staff.

Our goal is to provide organized and effective service, ensuring you have the best experience possible.

Child-Free Environment

We prioritize creating a serene and safe environment for our clients during their sessions. To ensure optimal relaxation and focus on our female clientele, we kindly request that children not be present during appointments. We understand the challenges parents face in arranging childcare but believe it's essential to provide a dedicated moment for our clients to unwind and prioritize self-care.

Health Assessment Form

It is mandatory to complete the Health Assessment Form. We recommend filling it out at least one day prior to your session. This is crucial for your Therapist to understand your concerns or address any health-related questions before beginning the Massage.

Health Rebates Available

You can claim health fund rebates for our Massage Services ( excluding treatments involving machines/devices). Mai Therapist clinic is a preferred provider for all major health funds. Your rebate is calculated according to the type of cover you receive from your private health fund. You may need to check with your heath fund provider to find out what you can claim, Mai Therapist cannot provide any guarantee on the outcome of your private health fund claim. We will process your claims after your session and send you by email within 3 days as an official receipt.

Appointment Arrival

We recommend arriving 5 minutes early, with your Health Assessment form completed, and using the toilet before beginning your session

Booking Confirmation & Deposits

To secure your spot, a deposit is required during booking. You’ll receive a reminder via SMS or email 24 hours before your appointment to confirm or make changes.

Cancelation – No-Shows

Respect for each other’s time is important. Cancelling or Rescheduling within 24H incur a 50% charge. Cancelling or Rescheduling within 4 hours and no-shows incur a 100% charge.

Late Arrival

Late arrival may shorten your treatment, but we’ll try to accommodate.

Cancellations & Reschedules

Canceling or rescheduling within 24 hours prior to your appointment must be done by yourself using the confirmation email. After this period, the online system does not accept cancellations or rescheduling, and this may incur a late cancellation fee. No refunds will be provided for cancellations within 4 hours or for no-shows.

Gift Cards

Message us to book, pay attention on expiry date. Longer services or consecutive bookings require voucher numbers. Expired vouchers can’t be refunded or exchanged for cash.

Package Purchase

Our pre-paid packages must be used within 6 months of the initial booking, incur a 100% charge for no-shows, a 50% charge for cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours, and subsequent session bookings will be made on the day with your therapist, with no refunds available for the purchase of the package.

Pregnancy Massage

Massages are generally safe for pregnant women. However, we wait until after the first trimester for your safety.

Inappropriate Conduct

Respectful behaviour is expected. Inappropriate conduct leads to session termination and full payment.

Post Operative Treatment

If you have undergone plastic surgery in the last year you should book for the Post Operative treatment, in this session is also included a consultation, massage and application of devices if necessary.
